P Diddy is a rapper, actor, record producer and men’s fashion designer with an estimated net worth of $500 million. This is making him the richest person in the Hip Hop entertainment business. Sean Diddy Combs, coming from New York, attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. Diddy gained recognition as a party promoter during his time at college, eventually earning an internship at New York’s Uptown records.

He worked his way up at Uptown records which lead him to a position as a top executive. But things didn’t work out and he got fired. After this he created his own record company, Bad Boy Recrods, with clients such as Notorious B.I.G., Cragi Mack, Carl Thomas, Father M.C. and Faith Evans.Combs began producing records for artists such as Boys II Men, Usher, Mariah Carey, and Aretha Franklin.

In 2001, Combs changed his stage name Puff Daddy to P Diddy, and has changed between the stage names Diddy and P Diddy since then. Combs has appeared as an actor in a number of film and stage productions. Combs business ventures are part of his Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide company, which includes a movie production company; and two restaurants; Bad Boy Records; and the clothing lines Sean John and Sean by Sean Combs.

In 2010, Diddy played a role in the comedy ‘Get him to the Greek’, as Sergio Roma, a record company executive. An Entourage-series representative announced that Diddy would guest star on an episode of the upcoming season.

In March 2011 Diddy-Dirty Money performed the single “Coming Home” with singer/songwriter Skylar Grey and two female background vocalists Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper, live on American Idol. Forty six minutes into the show, Ryan Seacrest introduced Diddy-Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey. Grey started the performance seated at a piano singing the song’s opening refrain. Diddy-Dirty Money’s performance lasted four minutes.

In April 2011 Diddy appeared in the 21st episode of season one of Hawaii Five-0 as an undercover NYPD detective.
