Rapper Jay Z is considered to be one of the most notorious names in hip hop. Since his early days, he was a young, business focused ambitious hustler, a true M.O.B fella, hence why he only married at an old age. Dame Dash confirmed that saying Jay had his fair share of womens, but he was far from being a ladies man.

Jay Z is an American rapper, a business man and an occasional actor. He appeared in films as Back Stage, State Property, Streets is Watching, Paper Soldiers and Fade to Black. This last title is a documentary about Jay Z’s career. Ofcourse there are many other big names in this documentary such as Bleek, Funkmaster Flex, his wife Beyonce and many other famous performers. His estimated net worth is $450 million as of March 2011, according to Forbes. There are rumors his net worth already exceeded $500 million, maybe we know for sure in 2012.

Jay Z pulled himself up by his bootstraps as a youth to eventually become the biggest and most influental rapper of New York City and at the moment, the whole world. Thanks to his rap career, Jay Z made around $63 million in 2010 and already made over $40 million in 2011.

His solo career is well known, so is he success from it, but he also performed with many other famous artists, such as; Rihanna, Bono, Mariah Carey, The Edge and many more. Jay-Z also produced a musical called ‘Fela’, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. They did this in celebration of Nigerian political activist; Fela Kuti. Jay Z is known for his rythym and ryhme technique and the perfect flow that comes along.

This man has a sharp business mind and proved it when he sold his Rocawear clothing label for $204 million in 2007. Later in 2008 Jay Z signed a $150 million Live Nation contract and holds stakes in the Net Jersey Nets, 40/40 Club chain and ad firm Translation. Jay Z is married to American superstar Beyoncé Knowles in 2008.

In total Jay Z already sold approximately over 50 million albums worldwide. He received thirteen Grammy Awards for his musical work and received numerous additional nominations.
