Flo Rida was born in Florida (hence the name). This rap artist and singer has an estimated net worth of $14 million dollars. Since the release of his debut album Mail on Sunday (2008), he achieved consistent success. Two of his three studio albums have achieved a Gold status.

As a teenager, Flo Rida toured as an MC with 2 Live Crew’s Fresh Kid Ice and began popping up on high-profile mixtapes by 2006. He appeared with the likes of Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Trina and Dre of Cool & Dre at DJ Khaled’s We the Best – on ‘Bitch I’m from Dade County’. In the same year Flo Rida was signed to the Atlanctic-distributed Poe Boy. Once signed he recorded Mail on Sunday, which was released in March of 2008. The album’s lead single was ‘Low’, featuring T-Pain, and it reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. One year later he returned with the album R.O.O.T.S. which stands for Roote of Overcoming the Struggle, featuring the massive club hit ‘Round’. Only 1 Flo, Pt. 1 appeared in 2010 with some tracks produced by dance music star David Guetta.

In December 2010 Flo Rida started his own label; International Music Group, inspired by Nicki Minaj’s signing with Lil Wayne’s. He has signed an 18 year old rapper, Brianna and Git Fresh to International.

In June 2011, Flo Rida was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida, for DUI and driving with a suspended license. Flo Rida was released from jail after he posted a mere $2,000 bail and obtained a signed court order allowing him to travel to Asia for a series of previously scheduled concerts in Bangkok over the weekend.
