Birdman is a rapper, songwriter and producer with an estimated net worth of $110 million. He is the co-founder and CEO of one of the biggest record labels in the music industry; Cash Money Records. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and founded Cash Money Records with his brother Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams in 1989. Birdman went multi-platinum as both an artist and producer. He helped a lot of other artist to grow like Lil Wayne and Juvenile. In 2000 Birdman was nominated for two Grammies for his number one Stunna song which he released with Mannie Fresh as part of the rap duo Big Tymers.
Cash Money Records is one of the most commercially succesful labels in the history of Hip Hop music with annual reveneus exceeding $100 million. Eventually Cash Money signed a distribution deal with Universal Music which would net the company a minimum of $30 million before a single record is even printed. But in the boldest move of all, when Cash Money signed with Universal they negotiated a deal which would allow them to own their masters, a deal that not even The Beatles had! This means instead of getting a few pennies for every record sold the company gets several dollars of the profits generated per unit.
In 2010, Birdman was going to release an album titled Priceless 2, a sequel to his previous album, but changed it to Bigga Than Life. The first promotional single was titled “Loyalty” and featured Lil Wayne and Tyga. Other collaborations will come from Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Bun B and Drake.
